Coach helps send Jets to cold offseason

New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick had thermometers installed in the tunnel leading from the New York Jets locker room to the field at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Game-time temperature was 15 degrees with a minus-4 windchill. Before the game, Belichick walked out on the field in a T-shirt and shorts before changing into warmer clothes.

Bill Belichick, an apparent expert at all things air pressure, tried to gain an advantage when the weather turned frigid Sunday in Foxborough, Mass., for the Patriots-Jets game.
