The 8,500-square-foot house at 8 Valley Creek View will be completely decorated and open to the public in April as the 24th Arkansas Symphony Designer House. But on Feb. 15, ticket holders had a sneak peek inside the massive brick and stone house at a Bare Bones Party.
While the only furniture in the house was tables holding refreshments for guests, the walls were filled -- just for the night -- with artwork for sale from local artists. Partygoers were able to wander the five-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath home that also has a two-story formal living room, gourmet kitchen, study, pool and guest house. Designers and artists were on hand.
The Designer House is a fundraiser for The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Guild and this year's theme is Designing for Music Education. The opening night gala, Crescendo, is set for April 12.
