LITTLE ROCK -- A tornado watch has been issued for a large swath of Arkansas, including the Little Rock metropolitan area.
The watch continues through 6 p.m.
A tornado warning that had been in effect for part of western Arkansas was canceled Saturday morning. There were no immediate reports of a tornado touching down.
Thunderstorms are expected to roll through the state Saturday, dropping as much as 4 more inches of rain. Severe-weather warnings and flash flooding are expected.
