SPRINGDALE -- Police said there is no credibility to a threat of a shooting at Springdale High School circulating on Facebook.

The Facebook post saying there would be a shooting at "SHS" is a screen shot of other posts, according to a press release from the police department. Lt. Jeff Taylor, police spokesman, said an investigation revealed they are nationwide posts that originated in Ohio. The posts have spread to several schools using the acronym SHS, according to the press release.
