Desserts were the first course at the Chocolate Fantasy Ball, where hundreds of delectable goodies enticed guests.
The event, held Feb. 10 at the the Statehouse Convention Center, benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas. After enjoying chocolate hors d'oeuvres and chocolate-infused cocktails, guests were treated to a three-course dinner that featured root beer braised short ribs.
Susie Morgan chaired this year's event. Ginger Johnson, a McDonald's owner/operator, was the honoree. Justin Acri and Marine Glisovic served as masters of ceremonies.
The night included a live auction where attendees bid on packages that included a ski adventure in British Columbia; a Cabo San Lucas golf and spa vacation; and a weeklong trip to Rome and Tuscany.
The evening ended with dancing to the appropriately named band, White Chocolate.
