LR shooting lands victim in hospital

Little Rock police were investigating Thursday after a shooting victim arrived at a hospital, according to a police spokesman.

Police were dispatched to UAMS Medical Center around 7:23 p.m., according to an online dispatch log.

Lt. Michael Ford, a department spokesman, reported the victim arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. The victim's gender and age were unclear Thursday night. Ford said occupants in the vehicle reported the shooting occurred at or near West 12th and South Woodrow streets.

The condition of the victim was also unclear Thursday night.

Woman jailed after 2 people stabbed

Little Rock police on Thursday arrested a 33-year-old woman in the stabbing of two people last week, according to a report.

The arrest report says Lottie Dunbar of Little Rock stabbed two people with a knife on Feb. 9. One of the victims, the report said, had been stabbed seven times.

Police said they arrested Dunbar at Little Rock District Court on two counts of first-degree battery. According to the report, she said the incident was in self-defense, but did not want to provide a statement to authorities.

She was listed on Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Thursday night.

Pedestrian wounded near LR motel ID'd

A woman who was shot while walking outside a Little Rock motel Wednesday evening near Interstate 30 has been identified, police said.

Officers responded to Heritage House Inn, 7500 S. University Ave., about 9:30 p.m., according to a report. There, they found Cassi Anne Kelley, 38, lying on her side in the lobby with a gunshot wound in her lower left abdomen, the report states.

Kelley said she was walking on the service road in front of the motel when she was hit and did not see the shooter.

The motel clerk told police he was walking from a hotel room back to the lobby when he heard a "pop" that sounded like a pellet gun, then saw a white, two-door sedan, possibly a Honda Accord or Civic, driving down the road around the same time Kelley was shot.

He said he heard a woman laughing from the open passenger-side window, according to the report.

Kelley was treated at UAMS Medical Center, where medical personnel said her life was not in danger.

2 suspects accused of theft, kidnapping

Two robbery suspects are accused of holding two people against their will Wednesday, police said.

Kelsey Luneau, 19, and Austin Grady, 21, both of Jacksonville, each face charges of aggravated robbery, false imprisonment and theft of property, records show.

Luneau faces an additional charge of third-degree battery, and Grady also is charged with terroristic threatening.

An officer was called Wednesday to a residence on South Road in Jacksonville in reference to an aggravated robbery, according to a Jacksonville Police Department report.

One victim reported that Luneau choked her "to the point she felt she was going to pass out," police said. Grady reportedly held a gun to that victim's head and demanded the PIN number for her debit card.

Police said the victims were held against their will inside the residence, with Luneau threatening to hit one if she moved or spoke.

The robbers took an item one victim had previously bought and returned it to Walmart to collect money, according to the report.

Luneau and Grady remained at the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail set at $10,000 for Luneau and $20,000 for Grady, records show. They are set to appear in court March 1.
