"Laughter & Libations" are on tap for Trike Theatre patrons March 2 at Record Downtown in Bentonville. The benefit will feature live high-energy blues from Downtown Live Wire, master of ceremonies and stand up comedian Raj Suresh, live and silent auctions, beer, wine and a signature cocktail. The menu will feature offerings from local restaurants Tusk & Trotter American Brasserie, Oven & Tap, Table Mesa Bistro and Butcher & Pint.

Proceeds will support the group's mission of empowering youth "to forge deep connections with themselves, their community and the world by seeing, participating in and learning through theater" and will help ensure programs are accessible to all children.

Trike shows include professional theater productions performed by adults for youth and their families; the Little Trike Series, designed for 2- to 5-year-olds; and youth productions performed by children 8 to 15 years old.

The professional youth theater will mark its 10th anniversary this year. Reaching more than 30,000 people each year, "transforming the lives of children through quality theater experiences" is the organization's biggest accomplishment since its founding, said Paul Savas, executive director. "The wowiest, most inspiring, most satisfying are the little moments when you are reminded that kids are developing -- finding their voice, finding their place, telling you 'I've found my people.'"
