Maintenance on three Interstate 49 bridges and overpasses in Johnson and Springdale will require overnight lane closings for the rest of the week, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews performing maintenance on bridges and overpasses at Clear Creek, Johnson Mill Boulevard and U.S. 412 will require the inside and center lanes to be closed at those locations each night through Saturday, weather permitting.
The northbound lanes will be closed first, and once that work is complete, crews will close the southbound lanes, the department said.
The northbound I-49 lane closings will take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. The southbound lane closings will occur between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. Traffic will be controlled with signs and barrels, the department said.
