I couldn't help but chuckle as I read Bass Trumbo's Feb. 1 letter in your paper. Mr. Trumbo is always quick to condemn Trump (and many other conservatives) for bending the truth but he is predictably silent when Hillary Clinton commits actual crimes (by using deception) in an attempt to steal the primary and General Election.
I don't think I have ever heard Mr. Trumbo critique Clinton in spite of the mountain of evidence that has piled up over the years suggesting that she has committed fraud at the highest levels. The FBI and DOJ have conspired to protect her (and damage Trump) but not a peep from Mr. Trumbo. It appears dishonesty is tolerable for him just as long as it works in the favor of his candidate.
I'm no Donald Trump fan. In fact, I think that he is a despicable human being. But, he is a far better person than HRC (AKA Crooked Hillary) and I'm thankful she did not become the first female president. It would be a shame for someone of her poor character to claim that title. Hopefully, there will be a woman of integrity who emerges soon who can carry that torch into the White House and make us all proud. I'm ready to see that!
