Two vehicles -- a Nissan Sentra and a Chevrolet Cruze -- had collided, and Borja was hit as she stood on the sidewalk at the intersection's southwest corner, police said.

The impact caused Borja to land about 80 feet away on the south sidewalk of West Sixth Street, according to the report.

The Nissan, driven by 25-year-old Kaleb Abram of Little Rock, was traveling south on Broadway while the Chevrolet, driven by 23-year-old Robert McFarlane of North Little Rock, was traveling west on West Sixth Street, an officer noted.

The two drivers did not report any injuries. Both were taken to the 12th Street substation for drug and alcohol testing.

Test results were pending.

An investigation is ongoing, and no citations had been issued as of Wednesday afternoon.
