DE QUEEN -- The home team led at half time, but not for much longer.
Mena (1-0) sophomore Max Montgomery threw three touchdown passes to three different receivers in the second half to push the Bearcats past De Queen (0-1).
Mena scored the game's first touchdown on a 2-yard run by junior Zane Stephens.

De Queen scored two touchdowns afterward and went into halftime leading 14-6.
About halfway through the third quarter, Montgomery connected with junior Andrew Graves for his first touchdown, and Stephens ran in the two-point conversion.
About four minutes later, Montgomery threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to senior Nick Linch to put the Bearcats up 20-14.
Montgomery delivered his final touchdown pass about halfway through the fourth quarter on a pass to Stephens. Stephens tossed a pass to sophomore Gaven Hooper for the two-point conversion to set the final score.
