ASHDOWN -- Hamburg (1-0) didn't score until the end of the third quarter, but a big passing play and a field goal were all the visiting Lions needed to top Ashdown (0-1).
Trailing 7-0, Hamburg senior Jonathan Kelley threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to senior Jalen Wilson with less than five minutes to go in the third quarter. Jesus Aguilar kicked the extra point to tie the game.

Aguilar put the Lions ahead for good just more than two minutes into the final quarter when he connected on a 23-yard field goal.
Kelley had 154 yards passing, and Wilson logged 77 yards receiving for Hamburg.
Ashdown senior Bradley Bearden threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to junior Neil Williams with nine minutes left in the third quarter for the game's first points.
