Rivercrest won its final game in Class 3A last season, defeating Junction City in the Class 3A state championship game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. The Colts have moved to Class 4A. Junction City is in Class 2A this season, which means there will be a new state champion in Class 3A for 2018.
