THE SKINNY: Jif has introduced new snacks that can be eaten in a jiffy.
The Power Ups line, which contains sugar but no corn syrup, features Chewy Bars (five per box) and pouches of Creamy Clusters (five per box) in a variety of flavors, all with a peanut butter base.
The bars of mostly peanut butter and rolled oats are available in: Creamy Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Banana and Strawberry. The clusters, which feature crunchy granola around a peanut butter center, are available in: Creamy Peanut Butter, Apple Cinnamon and Strawberry.
The flavor that sounded strangest to us -- the Strawberry -- ultimately was our favorite in both forms, as it had an inner-child-pleasing peanut-butter-and-jelly essence.
We noticed Jif has other new snacks that we have yet to see in this market: Jif Poppers of peanut-butter coated popcorn in flavors like Strawberry, Peanut Butter and Chocolate.
We hope to pop those into our mouths soon.
