Immanuel Baptist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, for the marriage of Laura Elizabeth Moore and Chase Morton Hudson. The Rev. Chris Ayers of Houston officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Leslie and Jeffrey H. Moore of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Homer and the late June Hines Moore of Little Rock and Lamar and the late Patricia Wilson Jennings of Rison.

Parents of the groom are Lisa and Rick Hudson of Houston. His grandparents are the late Mary Anna and William Stanley Hudson of Houston and the late Helen and Henry Honore St. Paul Jr. of New Orleans.

Arrangements of white hydrangeas, lavender, white freesia and lavender stock decorated the sanctuary. Music was by organist Tim Blann, guitarist and vocalist Clint O'Kelley, pianist Stephen Curry and vocalists Ashley Huenefeld, Taylor Quick and Trannie Anderson.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless gown of beaded lace and tulle with a sweetheart neckline. The fitted skirt flared at the knee and extended to a lace hem and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas and roses, lavender stock and white freesia.

The bride's honor attendants were Mary Catherine Moore, sister of the bride, and Kristen Marsh Alfaro, both of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Rachel Goodwin, Cayla Schaner and Kristin Ayers, sister of the groom, all of Houston; Ali Mosser of Kerrville, Texas; Jennifer Mitchell of Dallas; Ashley Mullen Davidson of Little Rock; Abbey East of Isabel, S.D.; Jeanne Humphries of Boerne, Texas; Lauren Barnard of Kansas City, Mo.; Trannie Anderson of Waco, Texas; Allison Lyles of Devine, Texas; and Reagan Burns of Rison, cousin of the bride. They wore lilac chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of white and lavender flowers.

Flower girls were Abigail and Emma Rainwater of Little Rock; Abigail and Adrianna Moore of Edgewood, Texas, cousins of the bride; and Macy Stimson of Lorena, Texas.

Serving as the groom's best man was Michah Phenix of Tyler, Texas. Groomsmen were Wynn Doughtie of Austin, Texas; Ryan Templin of Granbury, Texas; Matt Stubbs, John Van Anglen, Trent Russo and Shane Kruger of Houston; and Marshall Norment of Fort Worth. Guests were seated by Luke Ott of Arlington, Texas; Tony Flor of McAllen, Texas; and Ty Templin of Grandbury.

After the ceremony a reception was held at The Junior League of Little Rock. The ballroom was decorated with arrangements of white hydrangeas, lavender stock and white roses in gold vases.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations and new media from Baylor University in Waco where she was a member of the Baylor cheer squad and pom dance team. She is employed with BOX in technology sales.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Texas with a bachelor's degree in government and graduated with honors and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. He will join Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP in Houston in September.

After a honeymoon in Oyster Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Houston.
