Morris, Yurachek, Atwater among speakers on 2018 LR Touchdown Club schedule

— The Little Rock Touchdown Club will kick off its 15th year with a speech by Arkansas coach Chad Morris on Monday, Aug. 20.

Other Razorback-related speakers at the club this year are former running Rawleigh Williams on Aug. 27; athletics director Hunter Yurachek on Sept. 17; and former Arkansas and NFL safety Steve Atwater on Oct. 29. Several former Razorbacks will be inducted into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame during a Nov. 5 meeting, but those inductees have yet to be announced by the selection committee.

Other speakers at this year’s club include NFL greats “Mean” Joe Greene on Sept. 6; Ed “Too Tall” Jones on Sept. 24; Larry Czonka on Oct. 8; Earl Campbell on Oct. 15; and Barry Sanders on Jan. 10.

Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson will speak Oct. 1 and Central Arkansas coach Nathan Brown will speak Oct. 22. Other speakers include former Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze on Sept. 10, former Texas coach Mack Brown on Nov. 12 and former UCLA coach Jim Mora Jr. on Nov. 19.
