Architecture lecture designed for ongoing design education

The Windgate Center of Art and Design at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock was the topic of the Architecture & Design Network's June Freeman Lecture series April 10.

Held at the new building, which opened to students at the beginning of the semester, the panel featured members of the building committee and principal architect John Greer discussing the design of the center, which was made possible by a $20.3 million gift from the Windgate Charitable Foundation.

Guests enjoyed pizza and beer in the Taylor/Mourning Lobby before the lecture.

The Architecture & Design Network offers the free monthly lecture series to facilitate continuous education in architecture and design.
