Florida investors buy Rogers plaza, lot

A Florida company purchased about $27 million worth of property in Rogers just outside the front gate of the Pinnacle Country Club.

Hachem Investments of Tampa purchased a two-building development, listed as Country Club Plaza, and a nearby vacant lot at the southwest corner of the roundabout on West Pauline Whitaker Parkway.

Hachem paid $20 million for an office building and $6.5 million for a retail building in the plaza. The 3-acre parcel, just west of the plaza, changed hands for $500,000.

City Title & Closing of Fayetteville acted as title agent for the three properties.

Colliers International Arkansas represented the sellers. John Schmelzle of Schmelzle and Associates in Rogers represented Hachem in the deal. It became final April 12.

Schmelzle confirmed the information on the sale on Friday over the phone. It was first reported by Talk Business & Politics.
