Work on a section of Arkansas 124 about 2 miles west of Sunnydale will require the highway to be closed and traffic detoured for five days start-ing today, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews replacing a culvert running under Arkansas 124 in White County will close the highway between Arkansas 305 and Arkansas 157 beginning at 8 a.m. today. Weather permitting, the work is expected to take about a week.
The detour route includes Arkansas 305 and Egghouse, Prince Reaper, Tom Condor and Martin roads, the department said. Traffic will be con-trolled with flagmen, signs and cones.
