NW Business people: Callie McQueen, Rebecca Cowie, Andrew Heath

Callie McQueen, a clinical research coordinator at Washington Regional Medical Center, recently earned certification from the Academy of Clinical Research Professionals, where she is a member. McQueen, who graduated from the nursing program at Northwest Arkansas Community College, joined Washington Regional in 2012.

Rebecca Cowie was named assistant chief nursing officer/assistant vice president of nursing at Washington Regional Medical Center. She joined Washington Regional in 2012 as clinical nurse specialist for the critical care units and has worked as director of the stroke program, critical care and neuro progressive. She graduated from nursing programs at Purdue University and the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith before earning a master of science in nursing -- adult health from Arkansas State University. She is certified as an adult health clinical nurse specialist, stroke certified registered nurse and critical care registered nurse.

Andrew Heath was hired as Downtown Bentonville Inc.'s executive director. He was executive director of the Pennsylvania Growing Greener Coalition and has worked in marketing strategy, media relations and event planning for the office of Jonas and Anne Beiler, philanthropists and founders of Auntie Anne's Soft Pretzels. Heath holds a degree in politics from Messiah College in central Pennsylvania.
