2 people killed in Spa City shooting

HOT SPRINGS -- A man and a woman are dead after an apparent murder-suicide at a camping trailer early Friday morning that left another man hospitalized, the Garland County sheriff's office said.

The names of the victims were not released.

The man who survived was transported to a local hospital and was undergoing treatment for his injuries Friday afternoon, the department said.

The sheriff's office received a call of shots fired and someone yelling for help at 3:49 a.m. Friday in the 6400 block of Park Avenue, according to a news release.

Deputies arrived at 3:56 a.m. and found an injured man, a deceased woman and a deceased man. All three had what appeared to be gunshot wounds, the release said.

The bodies of the deceased man and woman were sent to the state Crime Laboratory to determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
