Wendy's trolling on Mickey D

They're the biggest rap rivalries of our time.

Tupac vs. Biggie.

Drake vs. Meek Mill.

Nicki Minaj vs. ... everybody. Pick one: Azealia Banks, Remy Ma, Cardi B.

Now there's a new beef brewing. Literally.

Wendy's vs. McDonald's. Yes, that Wendy's and that McDonald's. It appears fast food is going fast feud.

Last year when McDonald's announced fresh beef will be included in Quarter Pounders at most of its restaurants, Wendy's, which prides itself on using fresh beef, had a rather fresh Twitter response: "@McDonalds So you'll still use frozen beef in MOST of your burgers in ALL of your restaurants? Asking for a friend."

Oh, that Wendy! She can be a real Son of a Baconator on social media.

But Wendy wasn't ready to (Spicy Chicken) Wrap it up -- she was ready to rap it up.

She just threw down the grease-let in the form of an EP dropped March 23. The title of the project, which can be heard on Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play, is We Beefin'? Wendy's tweeted a picture of the cover -- featuring Wendy's square patty on a stark white background -- with the caption: "Fresh, never frozen beats."

There are five tracks on the EP, rapped from the perspective of freckled, red-pigtailed mascot Wendy, who is moving from Dave's Single on to music singles: "Twitter Fingers," "Holding It Down," "Rest in Grease," "Clownin" and "4 for $4." And they're kind of catchy. More of a catch than Wendy's Premium Cod Fillet Sandwich anyway.

We predict the songs might not have Ronald McDonald quaking in his big clown shoes, but they ought to have some people shaking their (hamburger) buns.

Below are the best diss lines.

From "Twitter Fingers: "Cold with the flows but the meat ain't Frosty." Brr, that's cold.

From "Holding It Down": "Wendy's been holdin' it down for like a minute now. Mickey Bleep was tryna to beef, it's time to finish now." And, there's her royal shot at another burger chain: "Can't be no king, yo burgers ain't the finest thing. I can't believe you peasants have the audacity." Talk about "throne" shade.

From "Rest in Grease": "I'ma boss chick so they hate that. Boy, we tried your food, where the flavor at?" And "Y'all too chicken for this beef. I'ma leave you resting in grease." And "You number 1? That's a joke. Why yo' ice cream machine always broke?" That last one sure is hard to shake off.

From "Clownin," a slap at McDonald's mascot: "My meals are great, people linin' up like every day. Leave you in shame, make you run back to Cirque du Soleil." Basically she just called him a bozo.

From "4 for $4": "The best you ever had, that there is just big facts. The competition tired like they just sprinted six laps." That's one way to have a run-in with your rivals.

That last one is a stab at Hardee's, which also introduced a "4 for $4" promotion after Wendy's. Hardee's might be home of the Monster Thickburger, but it's no match for social media beast Wendy's. Hardee's tweeted at Wendy's: "Just because you were first doesn't mean you're the best." Wendy's tweeted back this out-of-this-world retort: "Tell us the fourth person to walk on the moon without Googling it." Wendy's then pointed out, "Lol. They blocked us." Hardee's just couldn't hack it.

We await McDonald's Big (Mac) reaction. Surely they won't just be Chicken (McNuggets) and silently Grimace. We can only hope their marketing folks will respond with a (Mc)Flurry of clever clapbacks.

We're sure feisty Wendy's isn't going to chili out anytime soon.
