FAYETTEVILLE -- Four accidents, several arrests and a slew of citations were reported Saturday at the Bikes, Blues & BBQ Motorcycle Rally, the Police Department reported Sunday.

No significant injuries resulted from the motorcycle accidents, according to a press release.

Residents from as far as Texas and as near as Oklahoma and Missouri were arrested for public intoxication, driving while intoxicated, battery and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.

Citations were issued for prohibited parking, revving engines, failure to yield and careless driving, according to the press release.

From Wednesday through Saturday, police handled nine traffic accidents, made 15 arrests and issued 38 citations in the city, the department reported. No stolen motorcycles were reported to the department throughout the rally.

Police made 26 arrests, 22 of whom were residents from Northwest Arkansas, at last year's rally. One motorcycle was reported stolen in 2016.
