SPRINGDALE -- Thousands of Springdale residents lost power this afternoon.
"We do have an outage affecting about 3,900 customers in the central Springdale area," said Peter Main, spokesman for Southwestern Electric Power Company.
The outage happened about 2 p.m.
"We don't have a cause yet," he said. "We have personnel working on it right now."
They were checking a substation that serves the area, he said.
