FAYETTEVILLE -- The first day of Bikes, Blues and BBQ ended with two citations, no accidents and no stolen motorcycles, the Fayetteville Police Department reported Thursday.

The two citations were issued for fleeing and disobeying a railroad crossing, according to a press release. Both people cited are local residents.

Police made 26 arrests at the 2016 Bikes, Blues and BBQ, 22 of which involved local residents, previous Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette articles report. One motorcycle was reported stolen in 2016 and there was a fatality reported, but officials couldn't confirm whether or not the death was tied to Bikes, Blues and BBQ.
