SPRINGDALE -- Police arrested William Deupree, 56, of 304 S. Summit St. in Prairie Grove on Monday in connection with sexual assault of a special needs patient at the Elizabeth Richardson Center.
Deupree was a certified nurse's assistant with the center. The incident happened at the center's adult care center at 2007 Kim Ave.
Executive Director Cindy Acree did not respond to a voicemail Tuesday.
An employee found Deupree with his pants pulled down in the same room as a mentally and physically disabled 18-year-old female patient, who did not have pants on and was lying in her bed, according to the police report.
Deupree was being held Tuesday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.
