Dr. Misty Gonzalez joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine-Van Buren, 2800 Fayetteville Road. She recently finished a three-year residency in family medicine at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences West in Fort Smith. She earned her bachelor of science from the University of Oklahoma and completed her . doctorate at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies.

Rick Bagley has returned as news director for KFSM, Channel 5, Tribune Broadcasting's television station in Fort Smith and Fayetteville. Bagley held that position for six years before moving to Houston in 2014.

Stacy Matlock was hired as a commercial banker in Arvest Bank's Springdale market. She has 26 years of industry experience and has attended the American Institute of Banking. She will be based out of the bank's branch at 415 W. Emma Ave. Matlock is a member of the 2017-18 Leadership Springdale class.

Matt Clinkscales was promoted to Arvest Wealth Management client adviser in its Springdale market. He has worked at Arvest since 2010, including time spent as a senior staff auditor and, more recently, as a discount brokerage trading specialist. Clinkscales earned a degree in business administration with an emphasis in management at the University of Central Arkansas.

Dr. Amit Taggarse joined Mercy Clinic Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at 7303 Rogers Ave., Suite 302 in Fort Smith. He recently completed fellowships in advanced adult cardiac surgery, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Taggarse earned the equivalent of a doctorate from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He has completed residencies and rotations at hospitals in India, Atlanta and Detroit. He also worked as surgeon in India.

Chris Koerner joined 8th & Walton as vice president of supplier solutions. He spent 27 years with Energizer and moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2003 where he served as a category manager, key account manager and international category manager. Most recently, he served as senior category manager for three years with Newell Rubbermaid overseeing the U.S. and Canada. Koerner earned his master's of business administration in finance from Webster University.
