MORRILTON -- Brett Jones ran 3 yards for the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter and Jesus Arias converted his third extra point as Morrilton (1-0) rallied to edge Russellville (0-1).
Russellville scored on a short pass to get within a point, but the extra-point kick failed.
Russellville took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a 1-yard run and a 39-yard touchdown pass.
Morrilton's Jacolby Criswell scored on a 2-yard run and Arias kicked the extra point to cut the deficit to 14-7 by halftime.

Dylan White then found Xaviar Clemons for a 17-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to tie the game 14-14, with Arias again converting the extra point.
