Mieses guides Tulsa to win over Naturals

TULSA, Okla. — Johan Mieses hit a three-run home run and had two hits, driving in four as the Tulsa Drillers topped the Northwest Arkansas Naturals 4-3 on Friday.

With the game tied 1-1 in the fourth, Tulsa went out in front when Mieses hit a three-run home run.

NW Arkansas answered in the next half-inning when Ryan O'Hearn hit an RBI triple, driving in Donald De-wees to get within two.

The Naturals saw their comeback attempt come up short after Alfredo Escalera scored on a wild pitch in the ninth inning to cut the Tulsa lead to 4-3.

Tulsa right-hander Yadier Alvarez (2-2) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing two runs on four hits over six innings.
