Fans of the Arkansas Arts Center had a picture perfect evening Oct. 19 at the fifth annual Fountain Fest.
Attendees took selfies galore in front of the temporary surprise exhibit -- "Perception Pool" -- a silver installment created by Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects that was placed over the Carrie Remmel Dickinson Fountain.
Organized by the Arkansas Arts Center Contemporaries, the evening featured sips provided by Lost Forty Brewing, 107 Liquor, Moon Distributing, Stone's Throw Brewing and Roxor Gin. Nibbles were courtesy of Canvas at the Arkansas Arts Center.
Sponsors were Stephens Inc., Party City, Centerpoint Energy and the family of Carrie Remmel Dickinson.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the purchase of new artwork for the center's collection and to fund Contemporaries projects that support the museum.
