Juvenile male killed in car crash on Arkansas 62 Saturday

A 15-year-old boy from Berryville was killed in a car crash on Arkansas 62 on Saturday, the Arkansas State Police reported Sunday.

Sakvador Ezesarte-Cervabtes, 35, of Berryville, was westbound when he crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound Dodge van driven by KC Parker, 18 of Alpena. The 15-year-old boy was riding with Parker, according to a fatal crash report.

Arkansas State Police do not release the names of minors.

Parker and two minors also riding with him -- a 13-year-old girl from Alpena and a 17-year-old boy from Berryville -- were taken to Mercy Hospital in Berryville and Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. The fatal crash report did not specify who was taken where.

Two others riding with Parker -- a 17-year-old girl and Hailey Anglin, 19, both of Alpena -- were uninjured. Ezesarte-Cervabtes was also uninjured.

The weather was clear and the roads were dry at the time of the crash, according to the fatal crash report.
