JUNCTION CITY -- Junction City (8-0, 5-0 6-3A) didn't score until the second half, but that didn't matter against the Buckaroos (5-3, 4-1), who didn't score after the first half.
No. 1 Junction City, trailing at halftime, stayed undefeated after breaking a tie in the fourth qaurter.
Smackover scored the first half's only points in the second quarter on an interception return and a 10-yard pass, going up 14-0 at halftime.
Junction City rallied in the second quarter, scoring two touchdowns on 3-yard and 4-yard runs by senior Jalen Davis, evening the game at 14-14 going into the fourth quarter.

Senior Hishmma Taylor ran 4 yards for a touchdown on the first scoring drive of the fourth quarter, giving Junction City all the points it would need. Davis scored his third touchdown on a 2-yard run, and Taylor scored again on a 7-yard run.
Davis had 152 yards and 3 touchdowns on 22 carries. Taylor had 2 touchdowns and 140 yards on 36 carries.
