HEBER SPRINGS -- Heber Springs (5-3, 4-1 2-4A) senior Jacob Bremmon intercepted conference-leading Southside Batesville (7-1, 4-1) on its last drive of the game and the Panthers slipped by the Southerners.
Southside Batesville took an early lead, scoring touchdowns in both the first and second quarters.
Heber Springs got a 35-yard field goal by junior Julian Cameron and added a touchdown in the second on a 30-yard pass from sophomore Adam Martin to junior Rocky Finney as the Southerners led 14-10 at halftime.
Heber Springs scored the only points of the second half when Martin ran 15 yards for a touchdown.

Bremmon had the second of his two interceptions late in the fourth quarter as the Panthers ran out the clock.
