Armed man robs Fayetteville gas station

FAYETTEVILLE — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Valero gas station Friday night and who is considered armed and dangerous, officials said.

The black man entered the Valero at 4315 N. Crossover Road at 9 p.m. armed with a black revolver and demanded money, police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Murphy said.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Murphy said. The clerk was the only one at the gas station and no one was injured in the robbery, he said.

Police did not release any further description of the suspect.
