After a difficult news week, we need a dose of distraction. Spin Cycle presents another installment of "All the News That's Fit to Razz" ...

• After nine years O.J. Simpson recently was released from Lovelock Correctional Center in northern Nevada. When paparazzi caught up with him, asking where he was going and how it felt to be free, Simpson said: "One, none of your business" and "Two, I'm in a car the last five hours, so how do I know how it feels to be out?" and "I've been in Nowhere USA for the last nine years doing nothing. Nothing has changed in my life. What do you expect? ... Now please, can I have a break here?"

This Juice was really sour.

• Actress Sarah Jessica Parker says there will not be a cocktail-swilling Sex and the City 3. The HBO show's second movie came out in 2010 (to lousy reviews); hardcore fans had been holding out hope for a third. But SJP says, "It's over. We're not doing it. I'm disappointed." Co-star Kim Cattrall denies her diva demands were responsible for the project's collapse. Cattrall tweeted: "The only 'DEMAND' I ever made was that I didn't want to do a 3rd film....& that was back in 2016."

Apparently another movie is just not in the cosmo(politan)s.

• After months of speculation, ABC's reboot of American Idol finally has its judges panel intact. It had been rumored that Katy Perry would be joined by country crooner Luke Bryan. That was made official, along with the announcement that the third judge would be pop/R&B legend Lionel Richie. Bryan called Richie his "hero." And Perry tweeted about Lionel, "SO excited, I feel like DANCING ON THE CEILING."

Hellooooo, it was Richie they were looking foooooor!

• After postponing the European leg of her world tour due to chronic pain, singer and wearer of meat dresses Lady Gaga announced via Twitter that she is feeling better: "Gettin' stronger everyday for my #LittleMonsters can't wait to get back on stage ...."

It's good to hear she is beefing up.

• Professional fame-seekers Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, formerly of MTV's The Hills and several even worse reality shows, gave birth to a son, Gunnar Stone.

It's the 38,292th medical procedure for plastic surgery enthusiast Montag, and it's her second son, counting Spencer.

• Rapper Drake's dad, Dennis Graham, wanted to show his love for his son in a big, permanent way. He had a huge Drake face tattooed on his bicep.

Drake's father is clearly ink-redibly proud.

• After conservative Jedediah Bila abruptly departed ABC talk show The View, Sen. John McCain's daughter Meghan McCain is taking her chair. She will join Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Paula Faris, Sunny Hoston and Joy Behar.

At least until she joins Rosie O'Donnell, Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd, Jenny McCarthy, Nicolle Wallace, Rosie Perez, Michelle Collins, Candace Cameron Bure and Raven Symone -- other hosts who have recently left.

• For the first time since 2008, Total Request Live (TRL) -- the show formerly hosted by Carson Daly that we watched for Mariah appearances and Britney videos -- is airing again on MTV.

The return of MTV'S TRL might be more OMG if we weren't this close to AARP.

• Speaking of Mariah, while being interviewed last week via satellite from Los Angeles on a British TV show, Mariah "All I Want for Christmas Is You" Carey wore a red dress and had a decorated Christmas tree behind her. In early October.

All she wants for Christmas ... is two (months earlier).

• It has been reported that Justin Timberlake could headline the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show. You'll recall that Justin entertained at the 2004 Super Bowl. His last performance with Janet Jackson was rather revealing, causing a big controversy and coining the phrase "wardrobe malfunction."

So we can expect he'll be bringing "Sexy Back." But not sexy front.

It would be super if you'd email:
