Chateau Aux Arc in Altus was the setting at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, for the marriage of Sarah Lynnette Thomas and Wesley Aaron Pilcher. The Rev. Matthew Krepps officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Norma and Verlon Thomas of Maumelle.

The bridegroom is the son of Shirley Pilcher of Little Rock and Marita and Dr. Michael Pilcher of Fayetteville. His grandparents are the late Ida Mae and Glenn Henry and the late Mary Jo and Bill Pilcher.

The ceremony site was decorated with arrangements of royal purple, lavender and honey-colored wedding flowers.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a sleeveless A-line gown of ivory lace with a sweep train and carried a purple, white and bronze bouquet of lilies, tulips and roses.

Matron of honor was Nilah Smith Jones of Omaha, Neb. Bridesmaids were Bridgette Frazier-Sims of New Orleans; Denise Santos of Los Angeles; and Susan Altrui, Jineen Dobbins, Natalie Horton, Shannon Heard and Kayce Johnson, sister of the bridegroom, all of Little Rock. They wore lavender gowns and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.

Flower girls were Ryleigh and Mica Jones of Omaha, and Queen Giselle and Ava Sims of Little Rock. Ring bearers were Ashton Jones of Omaha and Devin and Dovanna Dobbins of Benton.

Noah Pilcher was his father's best man. Groomsmen were his son Oliver Pilcher, Ryan Dobbins and Brad Pilcher, cousin of the bridegroom, all of Little Rock; Scotty Thomas of Maumelle, brother of the bride; Marcus Lowe of North Little Rock; Ryan Shaw of Miami; and Joshua Atchley of Los Angeles.

Guests were seated by Bryan Wilson and Aeriess Duhart of Little Rock.

A reception at the winery followed the ceremony. Guests tables held arrangements of calla lilies, tulips, roses and lavender. Music was by disc jockey Nick Hud.

The bride has bachelor's degrees in health science and biology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master's of public health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a board member of Ballet Arkansas and the Timmons Arts Foundation and on the Arkansas Governor's Commission on People with Disabilities. She is a researcher.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in natural science from UALR and is a wellness consultant and co-owner at Arkansas Yoga Collective.

After a wedding trip to Isla Holbox, Mexico, the couple will live in Little Rock.
