FAYETTEVILLE -- Police arrested Earon Dean Tillman II, 28, on Tuesday in connection with rape.

A 15-year-old girl and her mother told police Tillman raped the girl, according to a preliminary arrest report.

They told police Tillman knew the girl from church and they went on a "hang out" or "date" Nov. 18. The girl said the sex act took place at Tillman's apartment at 2054 N. Garland Ave. No. 8, according to the report.

Tillman acknowledged the sex act in Facebook messages between him and the girl's mother, according to the report.

"The less people know the better ... cause you and I both know all someone has to say the wrong thing to someone and I'm in jail," he wrote as detailed in the report.

Tillman was on probation at the time of the reported offense. His probation officer asked him to report to the Benton Count Department of Community Corrections and he was arrested, according to the report.

Tillman was sentenced to probation in 2014 for theft of property in Benton County, according to online court documents.

Tillman was being held Wednesday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.
