Carey Andreoiu, D.O., joined Sparks Clinic Urological Specialists at 520 Towson Ave., Suite B in Fort Smith. She is a urogynecologist, a specialty that combines gynecology and urology. She worked at Cooper Clinic and has been treating patients in the River Valley since 2013. Andreoiu earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Mo., and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Christopher W. Brown, CPA, of Beall Barclay & Co. PLLC will receive the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants 2017 Outstanding Emerging CPA Award on Dec. 7 at the group's annual awards reception in Little Rock. He began at Beall Barclay as an intern during his senior year of college in 2010 and joined the firm after graduating cum laude from Arkansas Tech University. Brown is a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of CPAs, and the ASCPA Emerging CPAs Committee.

Joseph A. Sanford, principal and chief executive officer of Sanford & Co. CPAs, will receive the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants Mac Angel Discussion Leader of the Year Award on Dec. 7 at the group's annual awards reception in Little Rock. He has offices in Waldron and Mena. Sanford taught CPA Exam Review at Westark Community College, now University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Arkansas Society of CPAs.

Elizabeth Anne Heeney joined Weichert, Realtors -- The Griffin Co.'s Fayetteville office. The firm, at 2719 N. Drake St., is an independently owned and operated affiliate of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc.

Five Infant Nutrition Lab technicians at Washington Regional's Women and Infants Center recently earned certificates of training in formula and human milk preparation: Katie Atkins; Lacey Sugg; Erin Moore, registered dietitian, licensed dietitian and certified nutrition support clinician; and Tyler Brannon and Caroline LaFrance, registered nutrition and dietetic technicians.
