Friends and supporters of former U.S. Rep. Vic Snyder crammed into the Argenta Community Theater on Nov. 13 to raise money to preserve his political archive.
Snyder has donated more than 700 boxes of memorabilia to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Center for Arkansas History and Culture. Snyder served in the state Senate from 1991-96 and the U.S. House of Representatives from 1997-2011.
Archivists will start working on the collection in January and the process is expected to take two years.
