Springdale police look for robbery suspect

Police are looking for a black man they said robbed a Family Dollar store in Springdale late Wednesday night.

The man is described as black, about 5-foot-9-inches tall and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds, according to a Thursday news release. The man, dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask, went inside at 9:26 p.m., told a clerk at 3503 Elm Springs Road he had a weapon and demanded money, according to the release.

Police have not said how much money was stolen. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The incident remains under investigation, police said. ​Anyone with information can call the Springdale Police Department at 751-4542.
