SHOP TILL YOU DROP

Preview Party a head start for Holiday House shoppers

About 800 shoppers got the first look at all the merchandise available at Holiday House on Nov. 8. The Preview Party to the Junior League of Little Rock's biggest fundraiser was held at the Statehouse Convention Center.

In addition to shopping booths filled with everything from Christmas ornaments, clothes and stocking stuffers, there was a silent auction and food and drink to enjoy.

Two buffets centered the hall filled with a variety of delicious foods including sliders, mashed potato and sweet potato bars, pork tenderloin, pita bread and dips, and a variety of desserts provided by Gina's Catering.

Money raised from the four-day shopping event will be used for the league's community projects such as Stuff the Bus, Kota Camp for Fun, Little Readers Rock and the Nonprofit Board Institute.
