Project seeks coats for needy
Compassion Fayetteville is sponsoring Jason's Project: Warm Heart -- the 2017 winter coat drive -- through Dec. 3. New and gently used coats, sweaters, winter gloves and scarves and blankets can be dropped off at Unity of Fayetteville before and after Sunday services and at Nellie B's Bakery in Fayetteville.

Line dance
classes set
A beginners class will meet on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:45 to 2 p.m. beginning Jan. 3 at Riordan Hall. Registration fee is $20. In addition there is a $30 annual fee, payable to Riordan Hall. If you do not have a Bella Vista photo ID, you will pay Riordan Hall $2.25 per class.
The class will be taught by Kristine Schaap, who has taught the beginners for several years. As new dancers, students will have the opportunity to learn line dancing steps and dances that use these steps. Students will also receive handouts, lots of practice and personal attention.

VETERANS COUNCIL
HOSTS CONCERT
The Veterans Council of NWA, JM Band and Bella Vista POA will host the “God Bless America Concert” at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. The 17-piece Jack Mitchell Band will present a free two-hour patriotic concert in remembrance of 9/11 and the Dec. 7 attack on Pearl Harbor. Everyone is welcome to attend this free patriotic concert. Come early for seating, no tickets or reservations are required.
