The Arkansas State Police arrested a Texas man late Saturday night after he left the scene of a serious accident on a Little Rock freeway, according to an arrest report.
A state trooper located Brian Davis, 38, of Dallas about 3 miles from the scene of an accident that overturned a vehicle on Interstate 530, the report said.
Davis, while traveling south on I-530, struck another vehicle, causing it to leave the road and overturn, the report said.
Police found Davis with "bloodshot watery eyes and the odor of intoxicants," the report said.
He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury, driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless driving.
He remained at the Pulaski County jail Sunday night in lieu of bond.
