FAYETTEVILLE -- Library customers can have their overdue fees waived if they donate enough canned food this week.

Food for Fees week begins Monday and runs through Nov. 19. People will get $1 of credit for each can or package of food donated during the drive. The program doesn't cover replacement fees for lost or damaged material or billed fees for losses, according to a news release.
