LR Harley dealership planning a move

Rock City Harley-Davidson, the motorcycle dealership, is moving to the Gateway Town Center in southwest Little Rock.

Its parent company, Riverbike of Arkansas LLC, has closed on a $2.4 million purchase of a site near Dave & Buster's and fronting Interstate 430, Colliers International/Arkansas, which brokered the deal, announced Tuesday.

The motorcycle dealership expects to move from its longtime location at 10210 Interstate 30 once construction on the new site is completed, likely late next year, according to a news release. The new dealership is expected to be housed in a 40,000-square-foot facility.

Rock City Harley-Davidson and its satellite location in Conway, Toad Suck Harley-Davidson, offer new and pre-owned motorcycle sales, service, parts and financing along with official Harley-Davidson apparel and merchandise.

The dealership also offers Harley-Davidson Riding Academy, a motorcycle training course for new owners.

Riverbike of Arkansas LLC is part of the Hickingbotham Group, which has 10 Harley-Davidson locations in Arkansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma.
