Bentonville's Skylight Cinema welcomes full service restaurant and bar

Skylight Cinema in Bentonville will expand services Thursday with the soft opening of The Cutting Room, a full service restaurant and bar.

Don Ray, and his brother, William, have been in the bar business for 17 years and will head operations at The Cutting Room.

"We squeeze our juice fresh every day and make our syrups in house," Don said. "We follow the traditional ways of cocktail making."

The Cutting Room will serve 10 draft cocktails, 10 draft beers and eight draft wines. Serving from a keg will allow service to "move rapidly and give people a high quality experience," Don said.

The menu will be what Don described as gastro-pub style: burgers, chicken tenders, quesidillas, salads and wraps that mimic the salads.

Current hours of operation are 5 p.m. to the end of the last movie Monday through Friday and from noon, or the start of the first movie, to the end of the last movie on Saturday and Sunday. Daytime movie times are expected to be added in the future.

Skylight Cinema is located at 305 Southewest A St.
