HOT SPRINGS -- Magnet Cove's playoff-bound football team ended the regular season on a high note.
Eli Dawson ran for three first-half touchdowns as visiting Magnet Cove (6-4, 6-1 5-2A) defeated Cutter Morning Star (2-7, 1-6) at Eagle Field.
Landon Stone ran 20 yards for a third-quarter touchdown to make it 35-0 before Cutter Morning Star got on the scoreboard. Michael Kimpton ran 20 yards for a touchdown, and Austin McKinney ran 5 yards to set the final score.

Magnet Cove led 7-0 less than two minutes into the game when Dawson ran 20 yards for a touchdown.
Trent Robinson ran 5 yards for a touchdown at the 9:28 mark of the second quarter before Dawson scored twice in the last 1:41 of the half on runs of 39 and 7 yards.
