Billups was arrested in 2015 in connection with stabbing a woman with a kitchen knife at 3701 W. Murdock Lane in Rogers. He was later arrested in Oklahoma and faced charges including first-degree attempted murder at the time of his arrest. The case is now listed as first-degree murder, court documents show.

Police said previously Billups has an extensive criminal record. No further information was available, Saturday. Billups was at the Benton County Jail with no bond.
