Kael K. Bowling joined Friday, Eldredge & Clark LLP’s Commercial Litigation and Regulation Practice Group where he serves as litigation counsel to financial institutions, insurance companies and other business entities. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2016 and his LL.M.in agriculture and food law from the university earlier this year. Bowling worked as a legal extern for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Tyson Foods during law school as well as for U.S. District Judge Timothy Brooks. Bowling practices in the firm’s Fayetteville office.

Katelyn M. Eaves joined Friday, Eldredge & Clark LLP’s Trust and Estate Planning Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate matters, estate and gift taxation, and formation and planning for exempt organizations. Eaves earned her juris doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2013 and her LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2014. She comes to the firm with three years of experience in trust and estate planning law. She practices in the firm’s Rogers office.

Joey McCutchen, a Fort Smith attorney, was named president of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association during the 54th annual convention held April 28 in Eureka Springs. He also received the Roxanne Wilson Advocacy Award, given to a member who is dedicated to activism in the advancement and improvement of the legal system and the legal profession, to the defense of those who cannot find justice for themselves, and who demonstrates dedication to family, the community and the association. McCutchen is the founder of McCutchen & Sexton – The Law Firm, where he represents personal injury cases.

Alan Lane, a partner at Odom Law Firm in Fayetteville, was named secretary/ treasurer of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association during the 54th annual convention held April 28 in Eureka Springs.

Frank Bailey, founder and senior partner of the Bailey & Oliver Law Firm in Rogers, received the 2017 Henry Woods Lifetime Achievement Award during the 54th annual convention of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association held April 28 in Eureka Springs.

Kathleen Monk of Springdale was named 2017 Outstanding Paralegal by the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association during the April 28 annual convention held in Eureka Springs.

Darryl Napolitano was hired as broker/development management associate at Colliers International — Northwest Arkansas in Rogers. He has more than a decade’s experience in commercial real estate management, most recently as managing director at Haag Brown Commercial’s Northwest Arkansas office. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Faulkner University in Birmingham, Ala. He is a certified commercial investment member candidate and was the International Council of Shopping Centers Arkansas Retail chairman in 2012.

Eileen Jennings of Arvest Bank was named a member of Rural Missouri Inc., a community development corporation based in Jefferson City, Mo., that has announced plans to partner with banks in 10 Arkansas counties to provide SBA 504 loans. The 504 program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration provides financing for major fixed assets such as equipment and real estate. Jennings is a senior vice president and area loan manager for Arvest in Fayetteville. She began her Arvest career in 2004. Jennings was named the 2016 Commercial Banker of the Year by the Central Arkansas chapter of The Risk Management Association.

Shelley Simpson was named chief commercial officer of J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. Simpson joined J.B. Hunt after graduating from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1994. She has served as director of pricing for truck and intermodal, vice president of economic analysis, senior vice president of finance and administration, and, in 2007, president of ICS.
