SPRINGDALE -- Shawn Drake, 37, was arrested in connection to a sexual assault Wednesday, Springdale Police Department spokesman Derek Hudson said.
Hudson said Drake was arrested on charges of rape, parole violation and unrelated warrants.
Hudson said a sexual assault occurred near Thomas Street and Huntsville Avenue. Police identified Drake as a suspect and said he was driving a 1987 red Toyota pickup with antique tags M1396.
Drake was arrested Wednesday evening and is being held at the Washington County jail.
